About Us

Studio Signs was founded by Michel Despault and Claude Carle in 1988. Teaming up as partners in their humble beginnings at 1541 Star Top, they've worked hard at becoming one of the best truck lettering shops in the East End. And today, that still holds true. Twenty years ago, we were lettering vehicles using projector-blown patterns, blue-powder pounce bags and paint brushes. But, as technological advances were being made in the sign industry, we kept pace with the trend, chucking brushes and paint cans for digital graphics and eco-solvent, environment friendly inks. Oh yes...we are certified 3M installers. That means we've taken the courses offered by 3M Canada to know the media we work with and to install them the right way. And that's our guarantee of quality and workmanship. But we're not just a truck lettering shop. We're more than that. We keep abreast of new ideas and trends in all facets of the sign industry and make them available to you, from complete sign systems to flag and banner displays, even traditional carved wood signs. We have a team of 8 dedicated and experienced employees including Chris Tyler in sales and scheduling, Tristan Perrier and Drew Pettes in design, sales and production management. Directions

From Ottawa, take Highway 417 East (toward Montreal) and exit at Innes Road. Turn right onto Innes then right again at the first light onto Star Top Road. We're on your right at 1541 Star Top, suite 11. Look for our signs with the water droplet.
